Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.
Join us for a weekly virtual meet-up for adults between the age of 18-35. Each week we'll discuss a different topic such as getting out of your comfort zone or learning to work with others. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. Meet-ups are hosted every Monday at 5:00 PM by Social Grace and registration is free - just sign up, sign on and have fun.
Learn how to live more eco-friendly with our partners EcoAction Arlington. At our Gilliam Place community, we'll gather to discover doable actions we can practice every day to live sustainable lifestyles that will benefit our local environment. In this meeting, we'll discuss single-use plastic reduction. All are welcome, sign up below. *Note: things change. This week for our Social Justice Club, we're discussing the movie Milk. The film follows the story of Harvey Milk and his struggles as an American gay activist who fought for gay rights and became California's first openly gay elected official. All are welcome, and you don't need to have attended previous meetings to join. We just ask that you watch the movie beforehand. You can stream it on PrimeVideo here.
