Events Calendar

Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Drumming Circle

Join OSG in a musical event where we’ll play drums and create rhythm together. Participants will get a chance to express themselves by playing a multitude of percussive instruments, while also creating a communal sound. Join us for a weekly virtual meet-up for adults between the age of 18-35. Each week we'll discuss a different topic such as getting out of your comfort zone or learning to work with others. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. Army Museum Weekend Outing

Join OSG friends on a trip to the Army Museum. We'll explore the museum together and meet at the cafe at 12:30 where you can enjoy lunch if you wish to. Because of COVID, the museum requires we book a specific time slot with an exact number of people. Please sign up below before Friday, November 19th at 4 PM so that we have an accurate headcount.

Healthy Hangout with Social Grace

Come on out for our monthly Healthy Hangout at Lubber Run Park for some fresh air and good company. This is a great opportunity to get outside and connect with your community! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes while we walk and talk throughout the park and local neighborhood.  After our group walk, you are more than welcome to stay and chat or continue strolling around the park.
