Events Calendar

Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Independent Living Meet & Greet

If you're a new renter or are exploring independent living, please join NOVA Housing and Supportive Services (VAHSS) and Our Stomping Ground to participate in a quarterly meet & greet, this time to discuss electronic home-based supports. We'll tour Queens Court and see several apartments where adults with DD live independently. Then, we’ll experiment with different technology systems from SafeinHome. Healthy Hangout with Social Grace

Come on out for our monthly Healthy Hangout at Lubber Run Park for some fresh air and good company. This is a great opportunity to get outside and connect with your community! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes while we walk and talk throughout the park and local neighborhood.  After our group walk, you are more than welcome to stay and chat or continue strolling around the park.
