Events Calendar

Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Bingo Night

UPDATE: Bingo is sold out, please stay tuned for our next Bingo night. Join us for a little friendly bingo competition and win some fun (and possibly tasty) prizes, kindly donated by our friends at Fairlington Presbyterian Church. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know other OSG members and socialize in a safe environment. Bingo night will be held over Zoom – please RSVP for the link. Join us for a weekly virtual meet-up for adults between the age of 18-35. Each week we'll discuss a different topic such as getting out of your comfort zone or learning to work with others. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. Independent Living Meet & Greet

If you're a new renter or are exploring independent living, please join NOVA Housing and Supportive Services (VAHSS) and Our Stomping Ground to participate in a quarterly meet & greet, this time to discuss electronic home-based supports. We'll tour Queens Court and see several apartments where adults with DD live independently. Then, we’ll experiment with different technology systems from SafeinHome.
