Gilliam Place

918 S Lincoln St
Arlington, VA, 22204

Gilliam Place was our first stomping ground! A beautiful property built by the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH), it is located at the corner of Lincoln and Columbia Pike in South Arlington. The family-friendly building has with 173 apartments, eight of which are set aside for adults in the Settlement Agreement Population (SAP). Amenities include access to community centers and two outdoor patio areas, onsite laundry facilities and underground parking. Our first residents moved in December 2019 and report that they love their neighbors and the community.

Currently all eight units set aside for the Settlement Agreement Population (SAP) are occupied. If you are interested in the Affordable Housing units, visit the Gilliam Place website.  To learn more about the types of units available at Gilliam Place click the house icon below.

The building is located in a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with easy access to libraries, community centers, a post office and grocery stores. Favorite neighborhood restaurants include Rincome Thai Cuisine and Lost Dog Cafe on Columbia Pike. Also popular are our downstairs neighbors at La Cocina and Queen Mother’s – now the home of one of the best chicken sandwiches in the DC area. Public transit is right outside Gilliam’s door and allowing residents to travel anywhere they want to go! The daily OSG walks goes through a friendly neighborhood and down to a beautiful wooded area complete with a lovely stream. Next door there is a spacious corner park complements of our friends at the Arlington Presbyterian Church (APC).

To learn more about our building’s proud history, please check out the video below. We are very proud of our partners at APC and their commitment to issues surrounding equity and affordable housing for their neighbors.
