Fitness Fieldtrip 7/3 (In-Person)

We’re taking a detour from our usual walk this Monday morning and heading to the Longbridge Aquatics and Fitness Center. You’ll have the option of exploring the pool and/or gym, depending on your preferences.

Meetup: Our walking group will head out from Queens Court at 10am and take the blue metro line together from the Rosslyn metro station to the Pentagon metro station near Longbridge. If you’d like to meet us directly at Longbridge, then plan to arrive around 11am. There is metered parking available.

To prepare: Please review the following information carefully.

–Attire: Everyone is encouraged to dress appropriately for the activities you want to participate in. People going to the fitness room should wear sneakers and comfortable, athletic clothing. People going to the pool should bring your bathing suit, sandals, and a towel.

–Entrance fee: If you don’t already have a Longbridge membership, then you will need to purchase a daypass. Cash is recommended but you can also use a debit/credit card. The price is $9 for Arlington residents, and further information can be found here.

–Public transport: If you’re taking the metro, please remember to bring your SmarTrip Card, or your Metro Access Card and a government id. Alternatively, you can bring cash and purchase a roundtrip pass.
