Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Young Adults Virtual Meet-up

Join us for a weekly virtual meet-up for adults between the age of 18-35. Each week we'll discuss a different topic such as getting out of your comfort zone or learning to work with others. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. Social Justice Club: Be Antiracist Podcast

This week for our Social Justice Club, we're discussing the podcast Be Antiracist with Ibram X. Kendi. Our conversation will be centered around the episode: Antiracism & Immigration: People First All are welcome, and you don't need to have attended previous meetings to join. Harry Potter in the Park

Meet with John and City Center NOVA residents and friends every Tuesday, weather permitting, from 4-5 pm for a shared reading of Harry Potter, book one.

“The Reason I Jump” Film Screening

Join the Arlington Community at Central Library Auditorium for a screening of the film "The Reason I Jump" which follows the stories of several individuals with autism including two OSG members. After the film, there will be a panel discussion. This is a free event hosted by Arlington Public Libraries in support of Autism Acceptance Month - come show your support! Join OSG and Arlington County for some fun at the park! You will have the opportunity to walk the path with friends, stretch and exercise, play games, socialize, and shoot some hoops at the basketball court! Healthy Habits for Independent Living
