Calling all Disney fans! For our next Disney group, we're playing a game of "Name that Tune!" Healthy Habits for Independent Living uses a curriculum called Health Matters that was developed based on successful outcomes from the Health Promotion Program for Adults with Developmental Disabilities (DD) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This holistic program provides adults with DD a roadmap to healthy, independent living. The program is a combination of coursework and weekly practicums. Come out for our monthly Healthy Hangout at Lubber Run Park for some fresh air and good company. This is a great opportunity to get outside and connect with your community!
