Meet with John and City Center NOVA residents and friends every Tuesday, weather permitting, from 4-5 pm for a shared reading of Harry Potter, book one.
Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Join OSG in a yoga flow led by our friend Ania Sowińska. This will be an adaptive yoga practice that focuses on the individual needs of each individual rather than forcing positions. The OSG crew is getting together to attend a free summer concert at Lubber Run Park! This Summer Concert series features free performances from a variety of genres including big band, blues, soul and orchestral music to the Lubber Run Amphitheater. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. This week for our Social Justice Club we're beginning to read and discuss the book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian by Sherman Alexie. This a first-person narrative novel from the perspective of a Native American teenager, Arnold Spirit Jr., also known as "Junior", a 14-year-old promising cartoonist.
