Events Calendar

Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Join this inclusive arts and crafts workshop! DARTT (Doing Art Together) has invited all OSG members to participate in their new hybrid art classes through January -February 2022. Indoor Swimming Weekend Outing

Put on your bathing suit and grab a towel because we're going to the Long Bridge aquatic center to swim! All are welcome, but please RSVP so we have an accurate headcount. Join us for a weekly virtual meet-up for adults between the age of 18-35. Each week we'll discuss a different topic such as getting out of your comfort zone or learning to work with others. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. Healthy Habits for Independent Living

Healthy Habits for Independent Living uses a curriculum called Health Matters that was developed based on successful outcomes from the Health Promotion Program for Adults with Developmental Disabilities (DD) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This holistic program provides adults with DD a roadmap to healthy, independent living. The program is a combination of coursework and weekly practicums.
