Events Calendar

Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Join Our Stomping Ground’s yoga flow class at Gilliam Place with certified yoga instructor, Ania. This adaptive yoga practice focuses on individual needs rather than forcing positions. Beginners are welcome!

This particular session is co-hosted by graduate interns from GW’s Milken Institute School of Public Health as part of the Health Matters program. We will also discuss mindfulness and how practicing yoga can improve our mind-body connection. You are welcome to participate even if you aren’t a current Health Matters student.

Where: Gilliam Place community room (first floor).

To prepare: Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your own yoga mat if you have one.

This event is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP to secure your spot.

*Note: Sign-up is a must so we know to expect you. We will communicate any changes of plans via Whatsapp here.

It’s another Bingo Night, so join us for a little friendly bingo competition! You might win a fun (and tasty) prize, kindly donated by our friends at Fairlington Presbyterian Church.

Where: This is a hybrid event, meaning that we are meeting in the basement of Fairlington Presbyterian Church (3846 King St, Alexandria, VA 22302) AND via Zoom. You can pick either option based on what seems best for you!

IMPORTANT: There is a limit of 30 players for Bingo Night and we cannot exceed that.

You MUST RSVP by Thursday, March 23rd in order to participate. Virtual players will receive your Bingo card via email, and in-person players will receive your Bingo card at the event. Please RSVP by Thursday, March 23rd.
