Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Join our first-year GWU Physical Therapy students over Zoom for some exercise and a discussion about living a healthy lifestyle!
Meet up: This is a virtual event so we will meet over Zoom. Please RSVP below if you plan to attend, and you will receive the Zoom link in your email inbox.
To prepare: Please dress comfortably and keep a water bottle nearby. You should plan to exercise in an environment where you have enough space to safely move around. For some movements, it can be helpful to have a chair or a yoga mat, but they are not required.

Join our Cadence and Gilliam Place communities for a weekly walk and games at Thomas Jefferson Community Center (TJ). All are welcome (no matter where you live)!
Meet up: There will be one group walking from Gilliam Place and another group walking from the Cadence, and they will meet outside the main entrance of their respective buildings at 9am. Anyone is welcome to meet one of these walking groups and walk to TJ together. Or you can plan to meet us directly at TJ shortly after 9am. If you are running late, please message the Whatsapp group to determine where we currently are so you can catch up.
To prepare: Please wear comfortable walking shoes and feel free to bring balls, frisbees, and other fun, easily transportable equipment. Be sure to RSVP so we know to expect you.
