Events Calendar
Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Join our Queens Court community for a weekly walk around the neighborhood and local trails.
Meet up: We will meet in the Queens Court lobby at 10AM before heading out for our walk. If you arrive late, please message the Whatsapp group to determine where we currently are.
To prepare: Please wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring water and a small snack as needed. Sometimes, the group may decide to grab a bite together, so we’d recommend bringing form of payment if you’d like to purchase something. This is not required though!
Finally, be sure to RSVP so we know to expect you.
*Note: Sign-up is mandatory. We will communicate any changes of plans via email or Whatsapp here.
Please join us as we work together to clean up Roosevelt Island- one of D.C.’s jewels. This is a great opportunity to learn about this historical landmark, create new friendships, and protect our community.
Where: We will meet in front of the bridge at 10AM before heading over to the island. If you arrive late, please message the Whatsapp group to determine where we are.
To prepare: Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Remember to bring gloves and a trash bag if you’d like to pick up trash, but this is optional.
A note about the weather: If it’s rained recently and the park is muddy, please assume that Roosevelt Island is relocated. Instead, we’ll meet and walk at Queens Court (1615 18th St N, Arlington, VA 22209).
