Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Join our Queens Court community for a trip to the Longbridge Aquatics and Fitness Center! You’ll have the option of using the pool and/or gym, depending on your preferences.
Meetup: Our walking group will head out from Queens Court at 10am and take the blue metro line together from the Rosslyn metro station to the Crystal City metro station near Longbridge. If you’d like to meet us directly at Longbridge, then plan to arrive after 11:00am. There is metered parking available.
To prepare: Please review the following information carefully.
– Attire: Everyone is encouraged to dress appropriately for the activities you want to participate in. People going to the fitness room should wear sneakers and comfortable, athletic clothing. People going to the pool should bring your bathing suit, sandals, and a towel.
-Entrance fee: If you don’t already have a Longbridge membership, then you will need to purchase a daypass. Cash is recommended but you can also use a debit/credit card. The price is $9 for Arlington residents, and further information can be found here.
-Public transport: If you’re taking the metro, please remember to bring your SmarTrip Card, or your Metro Access Card and a government id. Alternatively, you can bring cash/debit/credit card and purchase a roundtrip pass.
-Food/drink: We highly encourage bringing a water bottle and a snack.

Join OSG’s chair yoga class at Gilliam Place with certified yoga instructor, Ania. This adaptive yoga practice focuses on individual needs rather than forcing positions. Beginners are welcome!

Join our Queens Court community for a walking tour through the historic and picturesque neighborhood of Georgetown. We’ll also stop by Bitty & Beau’s, which is a coffee shop run by people with disabilities!
