First Annual OSG 5K/10K

When: May 21st from 9:45 AM – 12:30 PM

Where: Lake Accotink Park (7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield, VA 22150)

2019 saw the birth of Our Stomping Ground with the goal of helping adults with disabilities live interdependently in affordable housing developments and inclusive communities. Barely four years later and we’re stepping things up a bit with the launch of our First Annual OSG 5k/10k.

Registration Fees

• 5k – $30, until Apr 30 ($35)
• 10k – $45, until Apr 30 ($50)
• ***Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance

Details:

• Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend this event!
• Virtual Race Option: Bishop events offers a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. Find more information here.

  • 5k – 10am
• T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before May 10. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.
• This is a Chip Timed Event

• Live Race Results: Live results will be posted on Athlinks.com. Additionally, there will be a QR code at the race for you to scan to immediately view your results. Final race results with series points will be posted to our website on the Monday following your race.
• Awards: The top 3 men and women overall will be awarded during an awards ceremony post-race. The 1st male and female in these categories will also be awarded: 19&Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70+. Runners who place top 3 overall in their race are not eligible to also win their age groups.
