Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.
Join our Queens Court community for a monthly walk around the neighborhood and local trails. We will meet in the Queens Court lobby. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and feel free to bring a friend! Please RSVP below so we have a headcount.
Join us for a weekly virtual meet-up for adults between the age of 18-35. Each week we'll discuss a different topic such as getting out of your comfort zone or learning to work with others. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. Meet-ups are hosted every Monday at 5:00 PM by Social Grace and registration is free - just sign up, sign on and have fun.
This week for our Social Justice Club, we're discussing the movie Invictus. The story is based on the 2008 John Carlin book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Made a Nation about the events in South Africa before and during the 1995 Rugby World Cup. All are welcome, and you don't need to have attended previous meetings to join. We just ask that you watch the movie beforehand. Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link.
