Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Young Adults Virtual Meet-up

Join us for a weekly virtual meet-up for adults between the age of 18-35. Each week we'll discuss a different topic such as getting out of your comfort zone or learning to work with others. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. Meet-ups are hosted every Monday at 5:00 PM by Social Grace and registration is free - just sign up, sign on and have fun.

This week for our Social Justice Club we're reading and discussing the book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian by Sherman Alexie. This a first-person narrative novel from the perspective of a Native American teenager, Arnold Spirit Jr., also known as "Junior", a 14-year-old promising cartoonist.  The book is about Junior's life on the Spokane Indian Reservation and his decision to go to a nearly all-white public high school away from the reservation. Join OSG  in a free seminar to learn about Enabled Intelligence, a specialized workforce that performs reliable, precise, and secure data labeling and AI technology testing for government and commercial clients. They pride themselves in being a neurodiverse-inclusive employer and would like to share opportunities with attendees as well as what the hiring process looks like. Come out for our monthly Healthy Hangout at Lubber Run Park for some fresh air and good company. This is a great opportunity to get outside and connect with your community! Bike Riding with Capitol Bikeshare

From 4:00pm-5:00pm located in the parking lots of 4200 S Four Mile Run Dr, Arlington, VA 22206. Join us as we practice riding our bikes using a Capital Bikeshare bike where we will borrow bikes with our Bikeshare accounts and practice riding near the fields and parking lot! A great way to build up confidence! Max of 5 participants.
