Events Calendar

Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Our OSG Arlington community is getting together on the first Wednesday of every month to enjoy dinner together. Each month, we’ll choose a restaurant near one of our Arlington properties. This month, we’re going to &Pizza near Queens Court. All are welcome (no matter where you live)!

Meetup: Please either meet at Queens Court at 5:15PM to walk over together OR meet directly at the restaurant at 5:30PM.

To prepare: You are responsible for paying for your own order, so please remember to bring a form of payment!

You’re invited to an evening of games galore! Join our Ovation community to play board games, yard games, and video games!

Meet up: This event will be taking place in the club room and courtyard on the 2nd floor of the Ovation. When you arrive, please message the OSG Events Whatsapp group to request access to the locked building.

To prepare: You don’t have to bring anything in order to participate, but, you’re welcome to bring your own games. Any video games compatible with the Nintendo Switch are especially encouraged.

Note about parking: Guest parking at the Ovation is free and located in the parking lot directly in front of the building.

You’re invited to a movie night with our Queens Court community! Together we’ll watch this month’s group pick: Liar Liar.

Meet up: Please arrive by 6:00 PM and message the Movie Night Whatsapp group since a key card is needed to enter the building. After everyone has settled in, the movie will start promptly at 6:15PM.

To prepare: Please feel free to bring snacks, blankets, or anything you need to be comfortable. Also, please join the Movie Night Whatsapp group so that you can send a message when you’ve arrived.

Join OSG in a shared experience where we’ll play various percussive instruments, express ourselves through music, and create some epic rhythm together. This event is led by our wonderful Gilliam Place partner, Arlington Presbyterian Church.

Meet up: We will meet outdoors in the garden outside Gilliam Place.

To prepare: Please make sure to RSVP so we know to expect you. Instruments will be provided so no need to bring anything but yourself and maybe a friend!
