Events Calendar

Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

You’re invited to our monthly movie night at our Queens Court community. Together we’ll watch Black Panther and enjoy each other’s company. Please feel free to bring popcorn, snacks, blankets, or anything you need to be comfortable.

The movie night will be held in the Queens Court community room. All are welcome, however, it is mandatory to sign up so we have an accurate headcount and we ask that you please arrive at 6:30 PM sharp since a key card is needed to enter the building.

*Note: Sign-up is mandatory. We will communicate any changes of plans via email or Whatsapp here.

Where: Gilliam Place (918 S Lincoln St, Arlington, VA 22204); We’ll meet in the Community Room

What: Create in community through group art therapy sessions every Friday afternoon! We will explore using various art mediums that will encourage self expression and creativity! The art mediums will range from fluid, such as watercolors and paints, to 3D sensory stimulating mediums, such as clay and sculpture materials.

IMPORTANT: Some protective materials and aprons will be available since the art supplies can be messy, but it is advised that you wear clothes you wouldn’t mind getting paint on and could possibly be stained. *Note: Sign-up is mandatory and spots are limited. We will communicate any changes of plans via email or Whatsapp here.
