Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

It’s Time for Trivia!

Get your thinking caps on - it's time for trivia! Join your OSG friends as we compete for bragging rights. There will be 3 categories are Space, Broadway Musicals, and Washington D.C.. In each category, there will be 10 questions, and a bonus round per category. All are welcome, and please invite your friends to sign up as well. Lubber Run Park Concert: The 257th Army Band

The OSG crew is getting together to attend a free summer concert at Lubber Run Park! Bike Ride Meeting Spot 4200 S Four Mile Run Dr, Arlington

Join us as we practice riding our bikes using a Capital Bikeshare bike where we will borrow bikes with our Bikeshare accounts and practice riding near the fields and parking lot! A great way to build up confidence!

Yoga at Gilliam Place

Join OSG in a yoga flow led by our friend Ania Sowińska. This will be an adaptive yoga practice that focuses on the individual needs of each individual rather than forcing positions. We'll meet at Gilliam Place in the community room, please bring your own yoga mat. Young Adults Virtual Meet-up

Join us for a weekly virtual meet-up for adults between the age of 18-35. Each week we'll discuss a different topic such as getting out of your comfort zone or learning to work with others. All you need is yourself, a snack, and an open mind to hop online and connect with old and new friends. Meet-ups are hosted every Monday at 5:00 PM by Social Grace and registration is free - just sign up, sign on and have fun.

Social Justice Club

This week for our Social Justice Club we're reading and discussing the book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian by Sherman Alexie. This a first-person narrative novel from the perspective of a Native American teenager, Arnold Spirit Jr., also known as "Junior", a 14-year-old promising cartoonist.  The book is about Junior's life on the Spokane Indian Reservation and his decision to go to a nearly all-white public high school away from the reservation. We will have dinner on Tuesday, 8/16/22, to celebrate finishing the book The Sympathizer. The restaurant is Hai Duong Restaurant Eden Center, located at 6795 Wilson Blvd #7, Falls Church, VA 22044. Drumming Circle

Join OSG in a musical event where we’ll play drums and create rhythm together. Participants will get a chance to express themselves by playing a multitude of percussive instruments, while also creating a communal sound.
