Events Calendar
Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Come out for our monthly Healthy Hangout at Lubber Run Park for some fresh air and good company. This is a great opportunity to get outside and connect with your community!
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes while we walk and talk throughout the park and local neighborhood. After our group walk, you are more than welcome to stay and chat or continue strolling around the park. Can’t wait to see you there!
Our OSG Queen’s Court community is getting together on the first Wednesday of every month to enjoy dinner together. All are welcome (including those not living at Queens Court), but please RSVP below so that we have a headcount.
For our March meeting, we’ll go to Tupelo Honey again and meet in the Queens Court lobby at 5:30 PM to walk from there. Please remember to bring a form of payment.

Do you think pineapple belongs on pizza? Let’s settle the debate. Now is the time to share your favorite pizza-toppings combo in OSG’s Pizza-Making Contest!
Basic pizza ingredients will be provided in a kit by professional Chef Danilo Orofino. Together, over Zoom, we’ll cook our pizzas and then add your favorite toppings in your kitchen. Before we indulge in our fresh slices, everyone will have the chance to share their cheesy creation with the group.
TICKET DETAILS:
There are two ticket options available.
BASIC: Includes ingredients for two pizzas (dough, sauce, salami, cheese) and cannoli dessert
DELUXE: Includes ingredients for two pizzas (dough, sauce, salami, cheese), cannoli dessert, and two bottles of wine (Montepulciano and Pinot Grigio-Trebbiano)
If you’d like to make one or both of the pizzas gluten-free, please select at checkout.
Note: tickets are only available until March 3rd.
PICKUP AND DELIVERY:
PICK-UP: Your order will be available for pick up in Springfield.
DELIVERY: If you’d like to have your order delivered to your home, please select this option at check out.
Join our group of OSG adults to plan events and activities for you and your friends. We’ll get to know each other, discuss ideas, and prepare for our next weekend outing for indoor swimming on February 12th.

Put on your bathing suit and grab a towel because we’re going to the Long Bridge aquatic center to swim! All are welcome, but please RSVP so we have an accurate headcount.
This is a weekend outing planned by the Stomping Zoomies, so please join their group on February 10th for more details.
Event Details:
The session will begin at 1:00 PM. Free parking is available on the weekend. Please remember to bring a bathing suit, a towel, and a form of payment. We advise that other valuables be left in the car. There are lockers available, but you’ll need to bring your own lock.
We will meet in the lobby. Please wear masks in all public areas and dressing rooms of the facility. Depending on the size of the group, you can anticipate the cost of admission will be $5-10. Please bring cash, check or venmo/paypal will be available.
Calling all Disney fans! For our next Disney group, we’re playing a game of “Name that Tune!” We’ll listen to Disney soundtracks and see who can identify the name of the song and the movie it plays in.
