Events Calendar
Our Stomping Ground offers a variety of programs including book clubs, games nights, art and fitness classes and more. We are always adding new events. Be sure to explore our calendar and register for those programs that are of interest. Some events are open to just residents of a specific community, some are open to residents and Friends of OSG, and others are open to anyone in the Northern VA area.

Our art therapy groups are a place to express yourself, connect with others, and discover the therapeutic power of creativity. Today’s session will be led by Julie, one of our art therapist interns from George Washington University.
To prepare: It is advised that you wear clothes you wouldn’t mind possibly getting stained.
Meet up: We’ll meet in the lobby-level community room at Queens Court. A key fob is needed to access the building, so please message the Queens Court Whatsapp group chat upon arrival if you need to be let in.
Parking: Paid street parking is available nearby Queens Court. There is no free guest parking at this time.
Weather Cancellation: In case of unsafe weather conditions, an announcement will be made on Whatsapp at least 2 hours prior to the start of the outdoor event.
Contact: We will communicate changes of plans via Whatsapp, so please join the Queens Court Whatsapp group chat to receive important event updates and stay in touch.
Accommodations: At OSG, our staff are not direct service providers, so we ask that each participant attending an event brings any personal support they may need for their well-being and engagement. This may include, but is not limited to, caregivers, communication partners, or mobility aids. That said, with prior notice, we can arrange group-wide accommodations during event planning. These might include ensuring wheelchair-accessible routes or selecting allergen-safe menus. Additional accommodations are available upon request, though they may not be listed here. To discuss your specific needs and help us make our events more inclusive, please contact us at claudet@ourstompingground.org with the subject line “Accommodation Request.”
*Note: Sign-up is mandatory. Please RSVP so we know to expect you.
